Individual Instrument Hire
A wide range of brass, string, percussion and woodwind instruments are available to borrow.
FOR: Individuals in Cambridgeshire, in-school and out-of-school
COST: £38 per term
Our instrument store is based at our Histon & Impington centre. We can lend you a single instrument – subject to availability. Use them for lessons and activities in or out of school, as well as taking them home to practice.
Take good care of the instrument, as guided by us or your tutor.
Provide suitable consumables for instruments when needed (e.g. replacement strings, valve oil, beaters, reeds).
Let us know if an instrument needs repairing or is damaged, and return the instrument promptly to us for appraisal.
Contribute to the cost of repair or replacement if damage has been caused by the borrower through negligence.
Collect and return the instrument from our Histon centre, unless you have paid for delivery and collection at the time of ordering.
Our offer
Our store of used instruments are fully maintained. We can deliver them to you and collect them afterwards (at an additional charge). If an instrument needs repair, we ask that you contact us and a replacement will be considered once our Instrument Technician has appraised the instrument.
