Cambridgeshire Music Creative Workshop

FOLK IN THE CITY 2025

28th- 31st July (Performance- 2nd August)

We are delighted to offer a collaborative course between Cambridgeshire Music and the Cambridge Folk festival for the second year running.

This year the summer course offers you 4 days of tuition and ensemble building lead by Cambridgeshire Music’s ‘Creative Learning and Wellbeing’ specialists and musicians Prue Ward, Jack Johnson and Orla Casey, alongside award winning folk specialists, Kate Griffen and Ford Collier.

Combined with a wealth of knowledge and expertise within the folk music industry, you will have the opportunity to unleash your creative side, working as musicians to create an ensemble which will be performed at the one-off event organised by the Cambridge Folk Festival called ‘Folk in the City 2025’ on Saturday the 2nd of August.

To take part in this course, which is open to all instrumentalists and vocalists of all standards, sign up via your Cambridgeshire Music account below or contact our business team for more information.
