Stage & Screen

Stage & Screen – February Half Term (Ages 5–11)

Three inspiring days of acting, dancing and singing – ending with a performance for family and friends!

Dates: Monday 16 – Wednesday 18 February 2026
Times: 10.00am – 3.00pm
Fee: £120

This February Half Term, young performers aged 5–11 are invited to step into a world of colour, comedy and creativity with Cambridgeshire Music’s Stage & Screen course, inspired by Rapunzel and the Barbershop Bros.

Across this fun-filled three-day course, children will bring a fresh, vibrant musical adaptation of a classic fairy tale to life. Expect a story bursting with land and sea adventures, secrets and rumours, hairdos and hats — and, above all, friendship and fun. From a reluctant prince longing for adventure, to a chaotic hair salon, a high-stakes hat parade and some banter-loving fishermen, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

What children will explore:

Acting – imaginative games, character development and storytelling

Dancing – upbeat movement sessions and playful choreography

Singing – learning songs from the show in a friendly, supportive environment

Led by our experienced tutors, participants will collaborate to rehearse scenes and songs, building confidence and creativity along the way. The course culminates in a joyful performance on the final day, where children can showcase what they’ve learned to family and friends.

No previous experience needed – just enthusiasm, imagination and a love of performing.

Places are limited – early booking is recommended. For more info, email us on cm@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
