What is Academy Zero?

Academy Zero is a low-cost introduction to instrumental learning and musicianship, comprising of a 30-minute group lesson (5 – 6 students) on your chosen instrument and a 30-minute musicianship class exploring basic rhythmic and aural skills.
Instrumental taster sessions September 7 & 14
Age: Year 1 upwards
Instruments
Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar
Woodwind: Flute, Clarinet
Brass: Cornet, Trombone
Percussion: Drum kit, Tuned (Glockenspiel/Xylophone)
There will be two sessions of Academy Zero a year running.

Students receive 16 sessions during their time in Academy Zero before moving on to Academy 1. It will not be possible to join mid-session.
The cost of membership is £25 per month over 6 months. This includes your group instrumental lesson, musicianship class and instrument hire.
