Are you a budding artist as well as a musician? If so, Cambridgeshire Music needs you to help design a poster for the Cambridgeshire County Youth Orchestra’s ‘Christmas to the Stars’ concert, which will be taking place on 21 December this year.
Over the next few months, Cambridgeshire Music will be running a competition for young designers to create a poster to advertise this public performance at the Cambridge Corn Exchange. The concert will feature music and themes from famous sci-fi movies and TV shows, including ‘Dr Who’, ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’, ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Star Trek’.
Entries from artists aged 18 and under are welcome. The entries will be judged by members of the Cambridgeshire Music team and the winners will get a family ticket to the concert, a framed copy of their winning design, and – most importantly – the chance to have their work displayed in print and online, including across Cambridgeshire Music’s social media channels.
To take part, you will need to download the poster template and accompanying information, available on the competition web page. Good luck!
