ARTS FOR HEALTH AND WELLBEING
PROJECTS AND EVENTS
SUPPORT OUR WORK
The events involved musicians from nine professional ensembles, who together gave 76 concerts across the county to a total audience of 11,525, as well as 61 workshops involving almost 3,000 pupils.
The project brings players from orchestras and bands directly into schools and other venues, where they give live performances, run workshops with young people, and play alongside them.
We have had some terrific feedback from schools who described the events as “fantastic” and “inspirational”. A teacher at Castle Camps CofE Primary School reported: “One child came out of the performance blinking lots. When I asked him why, he said: ‘I didn’t blink at all during the performance as I didn’t want to miss a single second.’”
Bookings for CM Live 2019 will open in the autumn.
