How to find us

If coming from the bottom end of Mayfield Road, there is a Cambridgeshire Music sign on the end of our building. If coming from the top end of Mayfield Road (past the Lord Protector pub and shops), we are the building on your left – next to the sign for the Huntingdon Gymnasium and Multiple Sclerosis Centre.

On foot

From the railway station – turn right, walk down the hill. To go to the bus station turn right at the traffic lights with the ring road and follow the ringroad until you see the bus station on your left, or to continue on foot go straight ahead on to George Street.

From the bus station – head North, through the centre of town until you reach the ring road on the other side (called Nursery Road). Key landmarks are Sainsbury’s petrol station or Riverside park

From Nursery Road there are two options:
a) Opposite Sainsbury’s petrol station take Priory Road, straight on to American Lane, right on to Buttsgrove Way and then right on to Mayfield Road walking down from the top.

b) From Riverside Park, walk up the B1514 towards Chatteris and March, take a left on to Desborough Road then left on to Mayfield Road.

Even more scenic if you have the time, take the riverside path to the North East and then take a left on to Church Lane, left on to Main Street (B1514) and then a right on to Desborough Road, left on to Mayfield Road.

By bus

There are many bus options into Huntingdon.

By train

Travel to Huntingdon Railway Station. From there you can take a bus (477 or 476) to the bus station in town and switch to the 45/1A/16 or you can walk from the railway or bus station.

By car/cycle/motorcycle

From Cambridge/M11 direction:

take the A14 westbound leaving at junction 23.

Turn right on to A141 and follow this over several roundabouts until you reach the junction with the A1123 towards St Ives and the B1514 into Hartford and Huntingdon (the A141 turns left towards Chatteris).

Take the B1514 towards Hartford and Huntingdon and turn right after about 800m at a junction with traffic lights on to Desborough Road.

Take the first left on to Mayfield Road and look for our sign about 200m later on a building slightly to your right.

From A1 North or South/Daventry direction:

from the junction between the A1 and A14 take the turning towards Huntingdon and travel along the A14 until you reach junction 23 (A141/A14). Then follow instructions as per Cambridge/M11 above.

Our car park is at the back of our building. Turn off Mayfield Road into Hardy Close, left into Suffolk Close, and left again into our car park. There is one disabled parking bay, please keep this clear for blue badge holders. There are bike racks next to the main entrance. Motorcyclists should park in such a way as to not block traffic and leave pedestrian routes sufficiently clear. If the car park is full, please park on Mayfield Road where there are no restrictions.
