What to consider when choosing an instrument

Here are some things to think about when considering what instrument to play:

What type of music do you enjoy?
Would you want to play in an orchestra/band or on your own?
How much practice are you prepared to do?
How much space do you have at home?
How much do you want to spend on an instrument?

How much does it cost?

A great way to start is to try different instruments in a music shop, or get lessons on a few instruments. There’s no rush.
