CAMBRIDGESHIRE YOUTH JAZZ ORCHESTRA

Develop skills with supportive specialist training

Cambridgeshire Youth Jazz Orchestra (CYJO) is an ensemble performing jazz and other styles of creative and modern music.

Each course will feature a different Guest Artist, be focused on a specific musical theme and culminate in a public performance.

Previous guest tutors include Tiago Coimbra (Maceo Parker), Joshua Blackmore (Bill Laurence) and Scott Stroman (Billy Cobham). Previous performances include We Out Here Festival, Anglesey Winter Lights and Cambridge Jazz Festival.

This December, we’re excited to announce that CYJO will be returning for another performance at the famously festive Anglesey Abbey Winter Lights.

Over the two day course CYJO will be focusing on some exciting new music featuring world class tutoring and performances by one of England's jazz legends, Mike Gorman.
