Are you a budding artist as well as a musician? If so, Cambridgeshire Music needs you to help design a poster for the Cambridgeshire County Youth Orchestra’s ‘Christmas to the Stars’ concert, which will be taking place on 21 December this year.
Over the next few months, Cambridgeshire Music will be running a competition for young designers to create a poster that can be used to advertise this Christmas event: a big, public performance at the Cambridge Corn Exchange, given by one of the county’s flagship ensembles for young musicians. The concert will feature music and themes from famous sci-fi movies and TV shows, including ‘Dr Who’, ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’, ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Star Trek’.
The winner will receive a family ticket to the concert, a framed copy of their winning design, and – perhaps most importantly – the chance to have their work displayed in print and online, including across Cambridgeshire Music’s social media channels, in the build-up to the performance itself.
Download the A4 poster template and text that needs to be included on the poster, both on this web page.
Design your poster with a Sci-Fi theme, including text required.
