String Players of Grade 4 and above are invited to work with the critically acclaimed Brook Street Band to create and perform in a Baroque Ensemble.

As the ensemble is unable to meet in person this year, they will rehearse on-line to perform the Pastorale from Corelli’s Christmas Concerto. Rehearsals with The Brook Street Band will take place via zoom on Sunday 29th November 2020 10.30-12.30 where students will learn to play and perform in the Baroque style on modern instruments.

Participants will be invited to record their parts remotely which will be edited together and published on YouTube as part of the Cambridgeshire Music Virtual Christmas Concert alongside the Cambridgeshire County Youth Orchestra and County Ensembles.

To register, sign into your Cambridgeshire Music account on our website. If you would like to create an account, please contact our business team at cm@cambridgeshire.gov.uk. Full information, music and backing tracks will be sent via e-mail before the rehearsal.
