An accessible and enjoyable approach to music theory

If you are working towards Grade 5 Music Theory, preparing your GCSE composition, or writing music for fun, you will understand the importance of music theory. This 6 week course starts with the basics and fills the gaps in your knowledge before moving on to the more advanced topics required for Grade 5 such as harmony, cadences and transposition. Supports both ABRSM and Trinity Exam boards.

FOR: Students who have an understanding of music reading and learn an instrument at Grade 3 or above.

VENUE: Weekly on-line sessions. Students will be required to accept our Blended Learning and Media consent forms when registering for the course. These can be accessed once you have logged into your account.

COST: £50 for the 6 week course, which will include course materials and an opportunity for the students to have work marked by the tutor.
